Population Clock by State

Malaysia's population clock is based on a series of short -term projections to get the latest Malaysian population. This projection is based on quarterly population estimates data beginning June 30, 2020 based on the 2020 Population and Housing Census.

On a quarterly basis, a series of population estimates will be updated to obtain short -term population clock projections and assume growth rates occur at that point. Once the quarterly projection series is updated, the values of daily population clock are obtained through the interpolation method. In each calendar month, daily population changes are assumed to be constant and subject to differences caused by rounding.
