Johor is located in the south of Peninsular Malaysia and bounded: 
i. Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang in the north; 
ii. South China Sea in the east; 
iii. Straits of Johor in the south; and 
iv. Straits of Malacca in the west.
